The classic Op. 45, 60 Studies, by Franz Wohlfahrt, are now available as viola duets, allowing the teacher to accompany the student. These accompaniments, composed by Eric Susoeff, fit perfectly with the original unaltered “Wohlfahrt 60 studies” (numbers 1-30). The second viola adds many enriching aspects of harmony, melody, counter point, rhythmic variety and melodic imitation, transforming these from etudes into performance pieces.
