Josephine Trott’s Melodious Double-Stops, Book II, is now available for viola, thanks to the new transcription by violist Allyson Dawkins. The exercises in Book 2 contain more variations in rhythms, bowings, and articulations than Book 1, and helps fill out the canon of double-stop studies available for viola.
